I would ask that the Provincial Government
.Reconsider overriding local planning and zoning and instead work with municipalities to ensure property owners and tax paying citizens concerns and expectations are considered.
.Require all proposed aggregate applications with all categories of potential waterway impacts (ie:groundwater, feeder streams, wetlands, fissures etc..)to participate in the more robust application process requirement for quarries below the waterline, set out in the Provincial announcement-in concert with the Governments protection of water resources policies.
.Consider a 2,000 metre setback requirement from all waterfront designations in alignment with many Official Tow Plans.
