As mush as wood is important to so many businesses, including the pulp business, in which I am part of. I don't believe any species, plant, or animal, should be at risk. We have a vast forest here in Ontario, and some of it hard to get at, or adds cost to the business to greet to the woods supply. I know that in the next 5 to 7 years, we will be able to start harvesting the trees that we replanted after harvesting, decades ago. The trouble I see, being an avid hunter and fisher, is there are thousands of acres of clear cut areas, where I am not seeing new growth. I believe the ministry is not doing their full efforts part in reforestation. We should be able to find a common ground between the forest industry and the protection of any and all species in our areas. We can do this. Don't rush into any final decisions, until all the avenues have been searched out, for the future of the environment, and it's plants and wildlife.
