I have seen these rock quarries and they are a definite eyesore. This proposal is just another attempt to make it easier to destroy our natural habitats under the guise of "progress". By lessening the amount of "red-tape" required to operate an aggregate quarry, the focus is taken away from species at risk or other environmental concerns so that certain parties or individuals can make a quick buck. Is this the direction we want to go in our province?
