Data is not everything...just use common sense. The water is in the ground for a reason. I find it hard to believe that anyone can wholly and accurately assess the impact of removing millions of litres of water and dispersing that water in little plastic bottles.
Companies pay a fraction of a penny for each litre they extract. That is a resource that should belong to the people and the environment. Biggest problems
1. At $500 per 1,000,000 litres that is immensely undervaluing water
2. By allowing the bottling of millions of water bottles Ontario. We're being saddled with even more plastic waste and having to pay to get rid of it.
THE REASON THEY CAN SELL WATER SO CHEAP IS BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE TO FOOT THE BILL FOR DISPOSING OF THE PLASTIC BOTTLES. Oh and they can access the water basically for free
Thank you
