I very much support this…

I very much support this extended moratorium on Nestle. In my view, the company should be blocked from ever having access to water in Ontario in perpetuity. They undercut municipalities who need the water secured for citizens either now or in the future, which shows amazing bad faith and a 'take no prisoners' attitude toward profit over people. We also know that climate change is having impacts on our fresh water lakes, raising toxins in the water so we will be more than ever in need of groundwater supplies in the future. Finally, Nestle has refused to come to grips with the horrendous problems caused by plastic waste, much of it resulting from discarded single use water bottles. These are not ethical corporate partners and Ontario needs to stop doing business with them.
