Ontario needs to have modern water taking policies that prioritize Ontario’s groundwater for communities and safeguards water quantity and quality for future generations.
The provincial government must consult with the public to create a groundwater review and present an opportunity for the creation of evidence-based policies. These policies must then lead to laws that protect the water and the watershed areas from any commercial or industrial concern.
