Growing up, camping and…

Growing up, camping and cottaging in Southwestern Ontario was always an integral part of my childhood. Some of my best memories are of camping for family reunions, or staying at my grandparents cottage up north. I always promised my grandparents that one day I would have my own cottage, and Rondeau is the perfect place.

My family and I are from the Chatham-Kent area and we are very much looking forward to being courteous, respectful, and environmentally-conscious community members in Rondeau. We are hoping that the Ministry comes to a quick decision to extend the land lease so that I can have a place for my children to create the same memories that I did growing up.

My family and I strongly support the continuation of the Rondeau cottage community, and the three year lease extension in hopes that a long-term solution can be reached. If a permanent solution is reached prior to the three-year deadline, we support it being implemented as soon as possible.
