I have been involved with these elk since they were first brought to Algoma. As farmers we asked
then that the elk be placed in and area where they would not be in conflict with Agriculture. When
the animals showed up on farms within months of there release we asked for compensation for
affected farmers. None of the things we have asked for have come to pass. Now you think you should
move animals to areas where they have only been a small problem for local farmers. I think you need
to get rid of the animals that are here not move them around.
