My family has held a cottage lease in Rondeau for the last 26 years. My children have essentially grown up this park. They learned to swim in the bay, made lifelong friends at the Yacht Club and most importantly have learned the value of nature. They are the epitome of stewards of the park, in a way that no day use visitor could be. Our family is so deeply entrenched in Rondeau that this 3 year lease extension is reassuring. While we had hoped for a longer extension or perhaps a potential long term occupation agreement we are happy that the government is moving in the right direction. We look forward to working with the ministry to ensure the long term viability of the eco system of the park while maintaining our family's beloved cottage/
