As a current medical school and future physician, I find it appalling that the Ministry would rollback pesticide regulation. In the face of all the climate and health knowledge at our fingertips, to blatantly pull back regulation that put families, children and our environment at risk for further harm is irresponsible. As Canadians, we need to lead the way for a greener cleaner future. We pride ourselves on our landscape and without the investment into cleaner more sustainable agriculture, we are going to fall back in innovation and the ability to be at the forefront of a major technological and agricultural change. Let's make positive change, not this.
