I support the short term and long term extension of cottage leases at Rondeau. The short term extension should be imbedded in the long term lease as a condition of compliance to updated conditions.
Diversity of uses is important in all parks and cottages are a valuable part of the parks heritage.
The government auditors should be ordering the ministry to conduct lease renewals in a more timely professional manner. Renewals not being action till on or after the lease expiry date is an unacceptable fair business practice.
