As a long time cottage owner…

As a long time cottage owner and multi-generational cottager for Northern Muskoka, I am saddened to hear the proposed cottagers of Rondeau park to vacate their property.

Many cottagers have a long standing reputation of correct environmental practices and respect for the land in which they live on. In addition to being large contributors to the community they live part time in and supporters of provincial and local initiatives. Removing this community in the park will have large scale and long term negative impacts.

I hope Rondeau park can establish a permanent solution that will ensure the cottage community remains forever. If a permanent solution is reached prior to the three-year deadline, I support it being implemented as soon as possible.
