At eighty, with MCS/EI and COPD, I have found myself, for the first time in my life, begging for mercy. After several years of presenting countless scientific facts on wood smoke and pesticides toxicity, for everyone,I begged mercy first from my Township Council , I now extend that plea to my Provincial Government. PLEASE don’t
weaken pesticide legislation. I love my dear Canada, lived from YT to NL, and love all my neighbours, their health and safety. We with MCS are the canaries in the mine, the first to warn everyone else IF we are allowed to live, to survive. Our home is sealed against local woodsmoke, which only helps somewhat. We have walked the beautiful roads here since 1993. This summer they were sprayed with pesticide but we were not warned, despite
my clear medical letter on file with Madoc Township several years.
PLEASE, no more toxic, deadly surprises whether from our Township or Province. We are all part of the great interconnected web of life and nature.
When even one strand is broken, all suffer. You will find Friends of Lanark County a useful site of information and dedicated citizens.
