Good Evening
I fully support the continuation of the Rondeau cottage community in perpetuity. I support the three-year lease extension as described in ERO Policy Proposal 019-0907. This lease extension should be granted automatically to all leaseholders. I support this extension as a first step means to be actively used to reach a sustainable permanent solution that ensure the long established, responsible cottage community remains legally within Rondeau for continuation as proactive supporters, protectors and promoters of this community and park lands. As a second generation cottage owner family and friends have enjoyed time as part of a community and able to live, learn and support this part as was the vision when cottages established in this and other parks. The cottage community form part of the critical stewards of the park as well as ensure its importance is shared with family and friends. The cottage community also providers financial resources to the park and the larger Chatham/Kent area. It is my hope and belief that a permanent solution should be reached that will ensure the cottage community remains forever. If a permanent solution is reached prior to the three-year deadline, I support it being implemented as soon as possible.
