"I support the three-year lease extension as described in ERO Policy Proposal 019-0907. This new lease extension should be granted automatically to all leaseholders. This time should be used to reach a permanent solution that will ensure the cottage community remains forever. If a permanent solution is reached prior to the three-year deadline, I support it being implemented as soon as possible.”

I was less than a week old for my first visit to my Rondeau cottage. My parents wanted all their children to experience the magic of Rondeau as soon as possible. From that moment, Rondeau has been the one place my family and I can enjoy more than anywhere else in the world. We have travelled to many places around the world and nothing compares to a sunset over Rondeau Bay, a family bbq on our patio, a walk along the lake shore and passing along the beauty and everything that only Rondeau can give from generation to generation (we are 4 generations deep).

Rondeau has gave me my parents (they met at RCY), a place to remind me nothing is more important than family after loss of family members, and a more family dinners than anyone can count.

From the moment I drive into the park see the smiling faces of everyone biking/walking/roller blading by, the drive down Lakeshore Drive watching as the forest grows over the summer, and not even unloading our car until a swim in Lake Erie first. Rondeau is the best place to be!!!

There is no other place I rather be to celebrate my birthday, Father's Day, and Thanksgiving. I cant imagine a season without lessons at RCY, endless days on the beach, trips the visitor centre, trick or treating at the campgrounds and sharing my love for Rondeau to our next generation.
I cant imagine a summer without Rondeau!
