I would like to write that I highly disagree with the proposed changes. Ontario should be a leader in preservation of wildlife species especially in a time when climate emergencies are occurring on a global scale. Please reconsider incorporating animal protection laws. Species like the Boreal caribou, Blanding’s turtle and common nighthawk need to be protected to ensure their recovery under the Endangered Species Act. This proposal is not conducive in ensuring that.
