I am shocked that the spring bear hunt is even an issue to continue fighting against! The wildlife already deal with climate change issues and poaching, not to mention unethical hunters. We cannot predict how the species will survive as the planet goes through one disaster after another and we could easily be in for raging forest fires and lack of food for what bears we still have to share this world with. I am opposed to any bear hunting, period. Wildlife management more often than not leads to unintended consequences. I have always felt that Mother Earth knows better than any human decisions when it comes to our environment, flora and fauna.
