I am writing to oppose the proposed change to black bear hunting regulations. A spring hunt is especially inhumane in that it kills mothers just coming out of hibernation and leaves cubs orphaned and destined to die a slow death. The proposal is a movement backwards in time. I oppose this change strenuously.
