I think a spring bear hunt is an insane idea! Cubs are born in spring and I can only imagine the horrible deaths that some of them might have to endure if their mother is killed. Slow starvation in their den, waiting for her to come home. Who's bright idea was this?????? It's bad enough that bears are killed in the fall. Don't allow a spring bear hunt too!!!
