We are better than this. We humans have a responsibility to protect vulnerable beings. Let us live up to our responsibility, and be proud of being a wise, and evolved species by not killing others. Bear hunting is an unnecessary and cruel activity that is made worse by being categorized as ‘sport’ or ‘recreation’. Killing will always be killing and morally bankrupts us; taking someone else’s life and calling it recreation is beneath us. Be merciful. For the sake of the bears, and for our sakes.
