I don't see why this is acceptable. This isn't bear hunting, it's gunning down bears. In 1999 these "hunts" were banned because mother bears were killed leaving cubs alone to die. What has changed since then?

Please don't regress to that time.

If the reason for the hunt is to limit human/bear interactions there are measures that are way more effective.

If this goes through it will only show that the hunting lobby is very powerful.
