Phragmites is recognized as the worst invasive species in Canada, and is growing out of control, reducing biodiversity all over our province. Zebra mussels are having a huge economic impact also in Ontario. Giant hogweed and wild parsnips are also very prevalent in Ontario. Why have none of these invasive species been targeted ?
