I am opposed to any hunting of black bears on the Bruce Peninsula. It is a small population and I would not want to see this species eradicated from our area. I especially do not want to see a hunt during the spring when these bears are most vulnerable and there may be cubs that need their mother bears. I disapprove of baiting to lure bears with food to be shot by hunters. Please do not support bear hunting on the Bruce.
