Please do NOT reinstate the spring bear hunt. It is both cruel and unnecessary. It leaves young bear cubs alone and unable to fend for themselves and there is no black bear overpopulation problem. Outfitters and lodges can surely find more humane ways of making money than by maiming and killing defenceless wildlife. Perhaps they can host host wildlife photographers instead of hunters.
