I think these types of charges might work in large cities but definitely not in small rural communities. Community or development charges for long term care should be paid out by the province from provincial taxes. Not just by new growth but by everyone living in Ontario. Small rural communities already have unused libraries and sports fields not being used. Completely against these types of charges. It’s like the province is trying to starve out rural communities. Bad idea!
