It’s not fair that communities will pay more so that developers can make more. The Community Benefits Charge (CBC) is another broken promise. You are giving money to the rich, at the expense of the average person.
Changes to community benefits should be revenue neutral so that municipalities can have libraries, parks, recreation centres, affordable childcare, and housing. That’s what the average person wants and needs.
