As a long time resident angler and boat owner I am well aware of the public education done on invasive species, largely through the OFAH and apply the recommendations and common sense when moving my boat from one body of water to another. My friends do as well. As anglers we want to ensure the health of our waterways and fisheries and participate in doing our share willingly.

I don’t believe bringing in more regulations coupled with the enforcement costs will result in any better results than simply staying the course. Additional law enforcement costs will further deplete the already strained SPA.
