I am a resident of Allowable and I am very concerned about the significant projected reductions in Developer payments in North York City Center for community benefits under the new regulation.
North York Centre has experienced enormous development which has put a great strain on local facilities and infrastructure. Existing development charges for community benefits have been crucial to obtaining parkland, community centers, childcare centers, etc. The city has added thousands of additional residents to our area without increasing community services child care and assisted living centers
Please update the new regulation to ensure North York Centre continues to receive Developer payments for community benefits that are comparable to what exist today. Willowdale has already reached its population target of 2041 and more funding is required for appropriate parkland and community benefit infrastructure. Development has torn up our roads and they are in bad state developers should pay for this
Thanks,
