To Whom It May Concern
I am very concerned about the significant projected reductions in developer payments for community benefits under the new regulation.
North York, my home, has experienced enormous development which has put a great strain on local facilities and infrastructure. Existing development charges for community benefits have been crucial to obtaining parkland, community centres, childcare centres, etc. This is true for many other growing communities.
Please update the new regulation to ensure communities continue to receive developer payments for community benefits that are comparable to what exist today. Growth means more funding is required for appropriate parkland and community benefit infrastructure.
