I am writing you today as a very concerned home owner regarding the proposed Waste and Processing Plant to be located at 633 Coronation Dr. Scarborough.

I used to live in Sutton Ontario, and drove up and down highway 404 daily, As I got close to the City of Newmarket, There was such a horrible stink in the air, the odor was coming from a composting waste disposal site, operated by Halton Recycling Ltd similar to the one being proposed in my current area. The smell was so bad, that the area residents complained for years. It finally got shut down by an Ontario Superior Court judge. Prior to the plant getting shut down, It was processing 15,000 weekly tonnes of Toronto organic waste since the fall of 2004.

I realize that the area already has commercial and industrial factories, however, we breath clean air at this time, ( odor free ) and I know first hand of the disgusting smell it will cause in our neighborhood. The odor will decrease the property value and I would like to know what your office is proposing to provide compensation to residents
in the area. We would be absolutely appalled if the proposed facility in Scarborough, in my neighborhood is approved.

In my opinion the best location for such a facility, is to build one in a rural setting, where there is less of a population, and more open land not in a heavily populated area where families live and children play. My wife and I are very concerned about this proposed facility and would expect that the Ministry make the right decisions for the residents and not approved.
