We have been a resident of this area for over 25 years and we are very upset that this proposal was accepted by the Ministry of Environment without any public consultation. COVID 19 outbreak has nothing to do with the Ontario Environment Ministry bypassing community concerns. This community has many seniors and people of disabilities that have several health issues. The odour, dust and noise from this type of facility is not welcomed and is hazardous to our continued health and enjoyment of the neighbourhood. In addition, having approx. 100 trucks a day transporting this waste will not only disrupt the flow of traffic and increase the noise level to the area but it will also release obnoxious gases that will poison the quality of air during the spring to fall seasons.
