This proposal is a huge step in the right direction. Science suggests globally that the well regulated practice of falconry has no negative environmental consequences, and allowing a closer connection to local species and falconers, will provide more data on the numbers, population and other helpful information to authorities. Let's remember that it was falconers with captive held birds who saved the peregrine falcon from extinction. This is a great proposal and I look forward to it passing.
