I do not support the proposed Bill 197, especially the proposed changes to the Environmental Assessment Act. The Ford government is using the pandemic to push through these harmful changes and make it easier for mines and resource projects to go ahead without proper assessments.
Ontarians deserve a safe environment, safe water and air, and these changes will make that harder to achieve.
Please include mines in the projects that require an environmental assessment!
