I ride an e-bike because I can't afford a car (insurance/gas/repairs), the last thing I want is to pay for insurance and licensing fees to ride my non polluting "bike" to work and back. Very bad idea when the e-bike is starting to gain traction with the public. I would prefer non polluting bikes on the road than the mass of cars we have messing up the environment each and every day!
