First off the ERO number is hidden by writing over it! My best guess is that number is ERO 019-2301.
I am concerned about extending the expiry dates of site specific standards for suspended particulate matter and benzene for Algoma Steel.
Since I can see this plant and many times the fumes and smells that are produced by it, I am concerned about not only my health but others in and around Algoma Steel.
Algoma Steel had an open house not long ago (pre Covid) touting the work they have done and money they invested to control harmful emissions.
I do not believe an extension should be granted. At the least a maximum of only one year extension should be allowed. The cancer rates in Sault Ste. Marie are already high. Please help reduce them!
