How is allow people to pay to destroy habits going to help habitats?
This allows for zero consequences to corporations and individuals who destroy a habit. As long as those who offend pay into the fund they get to walk away scot free.
Where is this money going ? Is it going to protect habits and ‘rebuild’ the elsewhere? Is it going to fix destroyed watersheds? Forests? Are Indigenous areas or municipalities where the degradation occurs going to be compensated?
Where is the accountability? The transparency?
