We strongly support the Ontario government pursuing the development of low-cost low-ghg hydrogen markets in Ontario and would want to highlight that the Ontario government should strongly consider hydrogen from organic waste/biomass/biogas ('organics-to-hydrogen') as a critical pathway for cost-competitive net-zero (or negative) carbon hydrogen. It has the ability to provide great economic activity, low-cost hydrogen, low-electrical/water needs and Ontario has large amounts of biogas for development. We believe that the government should help support a range of technologies and supply sources to facilitate the growth of a robust diverse low-carbon hydrogen market.
