The Government of Ontario (2018-2022) was not elected to override local democracy and destroy heritage sites. If Premier Ford wanted to shape Toronto is this way, he should have stayed in Municipal Politics. This is a gross misstep of authority, and is a blatant disregard for process and the will of the Ontario people. This is not transparent, this is not right. Public trust must be restored and all plans must be laid out and meaningful conversation established with municipal leaders and organizations.
