It is extremely concerning that MZO's are being used to circumvent local planning and protections of the environment. Of particular concern is the MZO that will destroy wetlands at the mouth of Duffins Creek in Pickering, and the MZO that is taking valuable farmland in Perth County and Stratford in order to install a glass plant which will add to the pollution in the area, and possibly exhaust the aquifer that supplies Stratford's water. MZO's were intended for areas where there was no municipal plan, not for areas where a plan is in place, and certainly not to undermine the wellbeing of the planet by destroying wetlands and other important conservation areas. Please reconsider the use of MZO's.
