I am strongly opposed to the misuse of the MZO to rezone a piece of land. The local municipality should have say in how the land is zoned. The MZO is undemocratic. It takes power away from the citizens and puts it firmly in the hands of one person - the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing. That leaves rezoning wide open to misuse.
