I am against Ministerial Zoning Orders being used as development in industrial projects . These zoning orders were never meant to be used in urban and sensitive agricultural areas in southern Ontario.They were never meant to be used to circumvent the due democractic process of deciding on new development . Unscrupulous Mayors and or councils can ask for them to circumvent due process without consulting the local citizens . That is a destruction of our democracy and the Ministerial Zoning Orders should be banned .The M Z O will not protect the efficient use of land. This all comes down to environmental protection our dimishing Agricultural land as well .
