This is not democracy. I believe the Province will not act in the best interests of a community. Doug Fords heavy handed approach benefits only his interests, developers over citizens. Previously MZO's have rarely been used, once per year. Doug Ford seems to think the properties in question belong to him and are there to be sold to balance his budget. MZO's were meant to be used when there is no planning department as in rural Ontario. This is not the case with most of the properties. It is a blatant abuse of power on the part of Ford.
