Three comments
1) The Grand River should be included as an Urban River Valley.
"The Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA) manages water and other natural resources on behalf of 39 municipalities and close to one million residents of the Grand River watershed."
2) A strategic initiative should be undertaken to increase the tree canopy in the entire Paris Morraine wherever possible. The plan would mandate muncipalites to identify possible areas for planting.
Federal funding should be considered by local governing bodies.

3) At some point, the Ontario government needs to do the right thing when it comes to protecting the quality of water on farmland. Minimum 3 metre buffers should be mandated for creeks, streams and rivers. Farmers compensated either by programs such as an enhanced Rural Water Quality program or through a more direct means.
