Growing the greenbelt and stopping all development that would destroy greenspaces, wetlands, our natural heritage and water resource systems is a very high priority to Canadians. Ontario must put conservation and climate change on the top of our agenda. This the 21 st century and we expect environmentally educated politicians. Smart urban planning, promoting healthy communities not just development for the sake of quick debt reduction but smart healthy urban planning in the public's best interest and mental health and accessability to green spaces in our city centres that make our cities environmentally inviting and a place for people to enjoy, Not congested and polluted and stressful. Sprawl is not the answer to well planned enjoyable cities, sprawl is outdated urban planning.
The greenbelt is essential to our health and mitigating climate change. ONTARIO must be a leader in sustaining our beautiful greenbelt it is so much a part of our beautiful provinces natural heritage and so vital to our environmental sustainability,it should he sacred to our province's beautiful landscape.
