I would like to see the plant known as Vinca or Periwinkle added to the invasive species list. As an avid hiker, I see this plant in areas of the Bruce trail and many conservation areas. for example, The Beamers conservation area in Grimsby used to have a flourishing eco system of trilliums and other ephemerals. The area is completely smothered by Vinca now. Sales of this plant should be discontinued as it presents a threat to our native ecosystems.
