I am requesting that the Ontario Government stop expanding the wood pellet industry. We need to protect our forests. Burning wood pellets is also damaging for the environment. There is a huge risk of whole trees ending up used in these products. I understand the use of whole trees has occurred in other provinces to meet demand for wood pellets. That is not solving a problem, only creating a new one.

We need to protect our environment for future generations. This plan appears to be short-sighted with a risk of creating too many other issues.
