I am so tired of having to…

I am so tired of having to fight for environmental protections, Green funding, and Eco justice. I just recently learned that I’ve been living for the past 30 years with something called “eco grief”... I just thought I was depressed and crazy, but it turns out I JUST WANT US TO STOP HARMING THE PLANET. This is how the internet defines it:

“Ecological grief, also known as climate grief, can be a psychological response to loss caused by environmental destruction or climate change. Thanatologist Kriss Kevorkian defines environmental grief as "the grief reaction stemming from the environmental loss of ecosystems by natural and man-made events."

I really need government to stop paying mere lip service to sustainability and start putting big $ into green spaces, green initiatives, conservation, and education. Human activity is literally threatening the extinction of 1 million species of plants and animals in the next couple decades. That is INSANE. And that’s not just a made-up number, that’s according to the 2019 United Nations Global Assessment Report. Our response to the climate crisis and biodiversity loss is INSUFFICIENT.

I don’t want to have to fill out surveys and Sign petitions and send letters to government BEGGING for better policy and funding. THIS IS INSANE. we are eroding the foundations of the systems we survive on and you are changing the Laws, regulations and policies to undermine Organizations who are doing their best, asking them to do more with LESS funding... I pay taxes TO SAVE THE PLANET AND THE HUMAN RACE, so start directing my money to greening And environmental supports and sustainability IMMEDIATELY. Thanks a lot.
