I think it is absolutely atrocious that this very new PC Gov't would proceed with this action of cancelling the Cap and Trade Agreement without sufficient consultation and due process OR having a replacement plan in place. The facts about climate change are overwhelming and to just cancel this without having another plan to address the damage that's being done on a daily basis in our province is short-sighted and foolhardy in the extreme. You say you are doing this "for the people", but...for which people? The mere 26% of the eligible voting public that voted for you? Are the other 74% of us not worth your time or effort then? Nice to know...thanks. I thought a gov't was meant to represent ALL of it's citizens. You need to do better...for our future, and the future of our children, grand-children and beyond. Time is running short. Action needs to be taken NOW. Cancelling this plan now with nothing to replace it is NOT what we need from our leaders. Very disappointing.
