Catfish Creek Conservation Authority comments to ERO Posting 019-2986 below:

We uploaded a letter which includes several detailed comments looking at the potential practical working of the proposal in the context of our local watershed and a very small Conservation Authority. General/global comments include:

1. Increases one time and ongoing costs to deliver increase in mandatory programs
2. Timing looks problematic due to short transition period
3. Recognizing watershed management is a great step
4. Passive Recreation should be mandatory and leviable as using revenue from trailer park to fund/subsidize other properties is causing trailer park to fall into disrepair.
5. Stewardship restores the natural infrastructure and therefore should be considered mandatory.
6. Citizens Advisory Board needs to be flexible.
