This Bill 4 Act is a retrograde step if ever there was one. The vast majority of the world's scientists say that Climate Change (really Climate Chaos) is propelled by fossil fuels and Canadians of my generation (a nonagenarian) have been watching the chaos coming with the same apprehension one watched a prairie fire. For a government that got elected "for the people" to abandon efforts to stem the chaos is to demonstrate a government that is entirely on the side of the Corporate Fossil Fuel industry and ignorant of or wilfully oblivious to the findings of science. It has been said that intentional ignorance is the only truly unforgivable sin and Bill 4 is a truly ignorant Act.
